Sports Watching and Dancing in Belo Horizonte

La Cancha Sports Bar has several 42"-plasma TVs spread around its 7,534 square feet so that nobody misses their soccer game, tennis match or F-1 race. The bar in the Sion district of Belo Horizonte also offers dancing (pop rock, samba, Brazilian coutry and electro are all welcome) and a casual, upbeat atmosphere packed with university students and the 20s-30s crowd.

Food is all named for the sport world.

There's greco-roman (Caesar) salad; a Roman Garros sandwich (chicken and Catupiry cheese on a baguette, served with French fries); a Lance Armstrong appetizer (chicken fingers with sesame seeds, served with barbecue or Catupiry sauce); a Tostão dessert (soft brigadeiro with strawberries). Brazilian beer, such as Skol, is served in the bottle.
