The time to make it happen is now.
If not now then when? A person that postpones will always remain ordinary.
Yes there are ten - year plans, five - year plans and more, but what are you planning to do now where you are so that you can get "there".
There is a specific place you want to get to and it's not every road that will take you to that place.
Taking action now is the beginning of great accomplishments.
You may not possess the flair or the natural advantages that others are born with but the time to create a new reality is now.
I explore ten things that you must deal with in order to take action and in the process take your life forward.
Ten steps towards making it happen in this and any other year.
1.
You need to forget past failures.
You may have to try again that thing which failed last week, last month or last year.
Giving up is not an option.
Life will knock you down several times but you must get up each time and try again what has failed in the past, this time more intelligently.
I believe you have just learnt how not to do it and going forward you will proceed more intelligently.
2.
Develop a significant and compelling vision that will make you jump out of bed every morning to accomplish it.
3.
Pay attention to the details, success or failure is in the details.
A detailed plan of how the details will be followed through guarantees your success.
4.
See the opportunity, seize the opportunity and it will be yours 5.
Take responsibility, literary take the bull by the horns, face objections head on and remind yourself that you will not be stopped.
6.
Undo bad habits and develop and nurture new, positive ones that guarantee success in all you do.
7.
Identify the knowledge and skill deficiencies you may have and work on developing yourself to become the kind of person that can deliver results.
8.
You should set realistic daily goals.
Have a "to do" list which you will review at the end of each day.
Your goal today may be just to get started.
When you achieve these small, daily goals, they will feed into your weekly, monthly goals at an incremental level.
9.
Do not wait until you are in a better place or things get better.
Start where you are, with what you have and expect God to do the rest 10.
Do it; there is no replacement for work.
Discard New Year resolutions, they do not work and become a goal- setter, who is a goal - getter.
