How to Braid in a Circle
- 1). Part your hair on one side of your head to prepare for braiding.
- 2). Lift a section of hair and divide hair into three equal sections with your hand.
- 3). Tilt your head towards the way you will be braiding the hair and cross the right section of the hair under the middle section followed by the left section under the middle.
- 4). Continue to gather and cross sections of hair moving around your hair line until you have completely braided the hair.
- 5). Wrap the tail of your braid around your head and pin into place with a hair clip or bobby pin.
- 1). Part your hair into a one-inch section of hair at the nape of the neck from around the head in a circle. Pin the remaining hair into place with a hair clip, rubber band or bobby pin.
- 2). Divide the parted hair into three smaller sections and cross the left section under the center and the right section under the middle section. Gather hair from the parted hair to continue the braid until you reach your opposite ear.
- 3). Remove the rubber band and part a one-inch section of hair just above braided hair in a horizontal circle. Continue the braid moving horizontally across the head.
- 4). Continue to part and braid your hair in a circular motion moving upward until you reach the crown of the head.
