How to Get out of Articuno's Cave With Both Boulders Trapping You in "Pokemon Blue Version

Escape Rope

• 1). Press Start to access the options menu.
  
  
• 2). Move down and select Items by pressing A.
  
  
• 3). Select Escape Rope from the Items menu and press A to use it. You will then be transported to the exit of the cave.
  
  

Using Dig

• 1). Press Start to access the options menu.
  
  
• 2). Select PKMN from the options menu.
  
  
• 3). Highlight and select the Pokemon that knows the Dig move.
  
  
• 4). Press A to select the Pokemon and select Dig. You will be transported to the exit of the last Pokemon Center you visited.
  
  

Fainting

• 1). Walk around until you encounter a Pokemon.
  
  
• 2). Let the Pokemon be your Pokemon. You may need to defeat several Pokemon to use up your PP points in order to not attack.
  
  
• 3). Let all of your Pokemon be defeated. Once they are defeated, the game will take you to the last Pokemon Center you visited.
