Living Your Dream Week
How do I start? How do I make sure that I live this life every day? What do I do about this job that I hate, or at least don't like that much? Shall I give it up? What about the meetings of associations that I don't love to attend, but I know that I have to show up at for different reasons? How do I include my daily routine? Who is going to clean the house, to buy the groceries, to do the laundry, to cook the food? There are so many details to consider that you might believe that it's impossible to live your greatest life.
So what can we do about that? Even though it might seem impossible to live your greatest life every day, you can surely do so for one week! One week is short enough for a trial, and on the other hand long enough to find out whether your idea of your ideal week is really what you want.
Take one week of vacation, go to your favorite place, and live that week in the way you wished to live your whole life.
What do you do with your aging parents? Send them to your siblings, or to a place where they can enjoy a wonderful cure with people around who will take care of them.
What about your children? Give them to relatives, or present them with a visit to a foreign country in a group of children who go on trips together and take workshops and language classes.
What about your wife or husband? Invite them to join your adventure, or, if they are not included in your picture, realize your dream week without them.
What does your dream week look like? Where are you? What climate are you in? How do your surroundings look? Are there mountains or woods? Is there a lake, a river, the ocean, or a beach? Is it an area with many people or just a few? What are you doing? What have you always wanted to try out? What food would you love to eat? How does all of this make you feel? If there is anything that diminishes your well-being, how could you change this part of your picture? Would you love to try out a new hobby or profession? What do you need emotionally and intellectually to be happy with your week? Your dream week needs to be organized well, while at the same time it's important that you leave it open for unexpected beautiful things to happen.

Then dare to live your dream week - just let it happen, and don't think and expect too much.
It's time to enjoy now! Bring a journal and write down what you love about it, and what you think might need improvement.
It's quite likely that your first dream week might not fully meet your expectations, because you are still figuring out what you want.
However, the second one will probably be much better, since you have the chance to improve what you didn't enjoy the first time.
How do you feel while living your dream week? In the best possible case, it is a feeling of being just where you want and ought to be.
If your feeling is not even close to this, then perhaps you listened too much to that inner voice telling you what you should do instead of what you want to do.
Then it's time to ask yourself again, "What do I really want?"
