The earth has about seven billion people.
Only a small percentage of them have taken charge of their own lives and worked towards successes.
The rest are probably moving in the opposite direction away from a more meaningful life.
They are still wandering around and do not knowing what is happening and what they should do about life.
Here are some pointers that we can apply to build up a better life: 1.
Admit that you are responsible for your life.
Stop blaming others for things that had not worked out in your life.
By thinking in such a manner, you are accepting ownership of your own life, and establishing clarity in your life.
It is about you changing your life and getting the results you want.
2.
It is a life-long mission to improve your life.
So it is critical to check on your attitude and commitment to do this.
Think about goals in short-term, mid-term and long-term.
Do not worry if you think the goals are too difficult.
No goal is impossible if we take action, but it will be impossible if we do nothing about it.
3.
Start from where you are now.
There is no need to envy those with better conditions or talents.
There is no need to move to another place for a fresh start or move up to the mountain to gain enlightenment.
Just start from where you are now.
4.
Assess everything you have, be it good or bad.
Write down all the problems that you are facing and analyze them.
Write down the resources or skills that you are possessed.
Only by being honest and true to our existing situation, can we understand what is really happening.
5.
For any money-draining items that are not a mandatory item in your life, examine them and make a decision to discard them.
An accumulated series of actions on this will yield prominent savings and reduce distractions to your life.
6.
For any bad habits that you had identified, seek to change or get rid of them.
This will usually take at least two weeks and require discipline.
An accumulated series of actions taken to remove bad habits, and replacing them with good habits will breed positivity into your physical and mental state.
7.
Be proactive rather than reactive.
This is one of the most difficult things to do.
To be proactive, you will need to be alert and aware of what is happening or what is about to happen.
It takes education and experiences to be good at being proactive.
When you are reactive, you are more likely to be less prepared and usually in an uncompromising position.
8.
Do a review on a regular basis, be it daily, weekly or monthly.
Examine what has worked and what has not; what should have been done and what should have not.
Absorb all these as lessons and use them as experience to plan better for the future.
9.
For those obstacles that are discouraging you, spend some time to tackle them one at a time.
It helps to build up determination, confidence and strengthen your spirit.
Remember to celebrate every victory and obstacle cleared.
10.
Always keep track of your status and progress.
Keep a journal and timeline at all times.
Cultivate a habit to visit your journal daily to remind yourself of the progress and your goals.
11.
If you think you cannot take the stress of having too many changes in your life at one time, then do them gradually instead.
Do only one or two changes every few months.
Continue to do them until your can see results.
The above list contains only some of the steps in the universe that can help to inject positivity into your life.
We do not need to know the entire list.
We only need to take up a few, and start to work on them.
They will bring an effect into your life.
