Do Fishing Games Relieve Stress?

105 1
There are several schools of thought about free online games today, and most will side with employers and say they are a complete waste of time. They say that employees are stealing time from the company by partaking in this form mid-morning or afternoon break. But if you look at how productive an employee is during the day, at the most an average office worker will only truly be productive just a few out of the eight or ten hours they are scheduled. The use of fishing games to relieve stress is equated to the same reason real world fishing has a Zen like effect on others.

For just five to ten minutes a couple of times per day an office worker could logo on to their favorite fishing game site, and just zone out mentally to clear the cobwebs from their brain. This will actually refresh their thoughts, and let them concentrate on the business tasks at hand. When the afternoon rolls around those three o'clock blues start taking effect of everyone in the office, again this might be just the ticket to getting them over that hump of being tired for the day. Just ten minutes twice a day of mindless free online fishing, could in theory alter the workplace environment in a much more profitable scenario.

If it is against company policy to use the business computers on their desk, then a blackberry, or iphone can just as easily access those free fishing games. Many companies have found, if they set a time and place for such activities, people will not try to hide, and do the same thing for longer periods during they day. By setting a time limit of ten or fifteen minutes, once in the morning, and once at about two or three o'clock will let them have something to look forward too, and not be so secretly abusive about the whole play game situation.
