- 1). Choose a Pokemon to defeat Aaron, the first member of the Elite Four. Aaron uses bug-type Pokemon, so you need either a flying-, rock- or fire-type Pokemon to defeat him.
- 2). Select a water-, grass- or ice-type Pokemon to beat the second member of the Elite Four, Bertha. She specializes in ground-type Pokemon, so water-, grass- and ice-type Pokemon are the best-suited types to beat her team.
- 3). Put a water-, ground- or rock-type Pokemon on your team to defeat the third member of the Elite Four. Flint is the third member and he specializes in fire-type Pokemon. If you choose a water-type Pokemon to defeat Bertha, you can recycle that member of your team (if the Pokemon is healthy enough) to defeat Flint.
- 4). Choose a dark-, ghost- or bug-type Pokemon to defeat the final member of the Elite Four. Lucian uses psychic-type Pokemon in his battles. Dark-, ghost- and bug-type attacks inflict two times the regular damage onto psychic-type Pokemon, giving them the best chance of winning.
- 5). Train your Pokemon until they reach Level 100. You can level your Pokemon by defeating trainers or wild Pokemon. Having Level 100 Pokemon almost ensures you will survive the Elite Four's Pokemon teams.
- 6). Gather 99 full restores before you battle the Elite Four. The full restores will cure any disabilities your Pokemon have and restore all their health points. Use the full restores throughout the battle as needed.
- 7). Organize your Pokemon between each battle so your starter Pokemon (the Pokemon that comes first during the battle) is always the strongest one against the Elite Four's team. You need to organize your Pokemon between each individual battle.
- 8). Fight your opponents using the moves that have the most effective element against their opponent. For example, if you fight against a bug-type, use moves that are flying-, rock- or fire-type for the best results.
