Step One to Self Confidence - Do What You Say

At the beginning of each year many of us make resolutions for the year.
The problem with resolutions is that they are often false promises that we make to ourselves.
We then spend more time making excuses why we can't keep the promise than we do trying to fulfill them.
Something else is always coming up to giving you a million excuses why you can't fulfill your self made promises.
Every time you fail to follow through on a promise you've made to yourself you begin to destroy your own self confidence.
Little by little you will begin to see yourself as a failure rather than someone that get things done.
Every time we make promises to ourselves and fulfill those promises it is like depositing money into the confidence bank.
The more promises you keep the larger the deposit becomes and the more confidence you have.
When you fail to keep promises the opposite happens and you begin to withdraw confidence until you have nothing left.
Have you ever tried to get money from an ATM machine when your account was low? Remember seeing this: Insufficient Funds The good news is that you can continue to make deposits into the confidence bank by developing a pattern of keeping the promises you make to yourself.
You have within you the ability to possess a high level of self confidence you just have to believe that you can trust yourself.
Self trust will keep you committed to the promises you make to yourself.
And as you begin to build confidence in yourself other will have more confidence in you as well.
After all if you can't trust you, you can't expect others to trust you.
