How to Get Squirtle in Pokemon Red

Getting Squirtle

• 1). Start a new game in "Pokemon Red."
  
  
• 2). Walk downstairs. Your character's mom will tell you that Professor Oak is looking for you.
  
  
• 3). Search the town for Professor Oak. You find out that he is not currently in the town.
  
  
• 4). Go north and you'll run into Professor Oak. He'll ask you to come back to his lab.
  
  
• 5). Choose Squirtle from among the three pokemon offered. The other two are Charmander and Bulbasaur.
