Your player character is a war hero named Marcus Fenix, and the leader of Delta Squad.
Their final mission is a last stand against the locust, infected humans (that morph into creatures), and other large alien creatures, which they must rid from that world.
The most deadly of the creatures (the boss), is saved for the end of each level, adding additional combat and competition.
The gameplay was never a problem, so it wasn't changed much, but it was improved! You are quicker and more agile.
Running for cover is faster and easier, and melee combat is smoother.
The controls which enable your character to perform all these combat moves has been improved and you can feel the difference.
New weapons have been added to you arsenal, for example The Digger- which shoots grenades under ground for the sneaky kill.
Other weapons have been enhanced enabling you to shoot, tear up or blast your enemies.
Multiplayer modes also had a facelift with the addition of a New Currency System, allowing the player to manage his money to build up re-enforcements.
The other mode with some enhancements is the Beast mode in which you can play as the locust.
Both modes combined tack on hours of additional fun.
In conclusion, we feel that Gears Of War 3 is an action packed third-person shooter.
Epic Games succeeded in making this the best game in the trilogy.
The visually impressive graphics and top of the line audio, made this one enjoyable as well as addicting game.
We highly recommend this game to all gamers.
