- 1). Plug the PlayStation 3 into the wall using the AC adapter. The red light over the power button on the PS3 should illuminate, indicating that the device is in standby mode.
- 2). Plug the PlayStation compatible AV-to-RCA cable into the PS3 using the rectangular end.
- 3). Plug the PlayStation compatible AV-to-RCA cable into the television, yellow to yellow, red to red and white to white.
- 4). Hold the power button in for at least five seconds until the PlayStation beeps twice. The PS3 should now be in RCA mode and work properly.
