How to Find the Percentage of Weight Lost
- 1). Determine your starting weight.
Using this figure, subtract your current weight.
Example: 200 lb. (start weight) - 180 lb. (current weight) = 20 lb. (difference) - 2). Divide the difference from Step 1 with your starting weight.
Example: 20 lb. divided by 200 lb. = .1 - 3). Multiple.
Using your answer in Step 2, multiply by 100 for your weight loss percentage.
Example: 100 x .1 = 10%
