- 1). Run up to an enemy to automatically engage them in a fight.
- 2). Select "Mist" from your menu and then choose "Quickening."
- 3). Select the level 1 quickening move that your main character has. Using a level one move as opposed to a level 3 quickening move will result in your magic points going down slower. This will mean you can do a larger chain.
- 4). Wait for your first character to complete their quickening. Look at the bottom right corner of the screen. Press the corresponding button for your party members quickening move as soon as it appears. The key to getting a large chain is to do the move as quickly as possible.
- 5). Repeat this as many times as you can to create the largest quickening chain possible.
