How to Roll Candles in Cinnamon

Using Cinnamon Sticks

• 1). Melt the wax by placing it in the double boiler over medium low heat. A double boiler holds water in the bottom and wax in the top section.
  
  
• 2). Prepare the candle mold by spreading the sealer on the edges of the mold. Press the two halves together.
  
  
• 3). Dip the cinnamon sticks in the melted wax using the tongs. Line the mold with the cinnamon sticks by pressing each dipped stick to the side of the mold. Dip each stick only once so the wax does not hide the stick.
  
  
• 4). Tie the wick to the skewer and dangle the wick down into the mold.
  
  
• 5). Pour the melted wax into the mold. Allow the candle to dry for 24 hours
  
  

Using Powdered Cinnamon

• 1). Melt 1 pound of wax by placing it in the double boiler over medium low heat. A double boiler holds water in the bottom and wax in the top section.
  
  
• 2). Prepare the candle mold by spreading the sealer on the edges of the mold. Press the two halves together.
  
  
• 3). Tie the wick to the skewer and dangle the wick down into the mold.
  
  
• 4). Pour the melted wax into the mold. Allow the candle to dry for 24 hours.
  
  
• 5). Melt another pound of wax using the method above.
  
  
• 6). Spread the powdered cinnamon on a sheet of wax paper.
  
  
• 7). Dip the candle in the melted wax using tongs.
  
  
• 8). Role the candle in the cinnamon while wearing gloves. You may need to spoon hot wax onto the candle and role that in the cinnamon if it dries too fast.
  
  
• 9). Allow the candle to dry for another 24 hours. Trim any unwanted pieces of wax from the candle using the knife.
