Borderlands Crashing in My PC

Borderlands is a Science-Fiction game.
On PCs it runs well most of the times.
However, due to errors within the operating system, sometimes the game crashes.

Disable Firewall Protection Conflicts with the Firewall protection could result in Borderlands crashing.
To fix it, temporarily disable the firewall program while playing the game.
The steps to disable your firewall protection vary by the products that you use.
In most cases, there is an icon of your firewall program in the 'Notification Area' of the Taskbar.
Right-click it and select Disable option.
Repair Borderlands Registry Corruption in the system registry could lead to a Borderlands crash.

If the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ is corrupted your game might crash frequently.
You have to download a fresh setup of Microsoft Visual C++ and reinstall it on your computer.

Click Programs | Uninstall a Program.
3.
Select Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from the list of installed programs and click Uninstall.
4.
Follow the wizard and restart your computer.
5.
Download a fresh setup of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft Web Site.
6.
Launch the downloaded setup program to install it on your computer.
