How to Make LEGO Storm Troopers Into LEGO Clone Troopers
- 1). Remove the helmet from the body of a LEGO Stormtrooper minifigure.
- 2). Apply a coat of white acrylic paint to the helmet. Wait for the paint to dry and apply another coat until no black coloring is on the helmet.
- 3). Draw a black line with a paint marker directly above where the indentations for the eyes are on the helmet. Extend the line so it reaches the end of both eyes.
- 4). Angle a line down from each end of the first line to a point in the center of the helmet, just below the eye indentations.
- 5). Fill in the triangle with the black paint marker. The result will look like a black frown on the helmet.
- 6). Draw a vertical line slightly to the left and right of the top points on the triangle mouth of the helmet extending up the the black eye line. Fill in the center to complete the face of the helmet.
- 7). Flatten a pea-sized ball of white modeling clay. Using a modeling knife, cut the clay into the shape of an acute triangle, which resembles a fin. Place the fin on the top of the Clone Trooper helmet so the bottom molds along the curve of the surface. Remove the fin and allow it to dry.
- 8). Apply a line of modeling glue to the bottom edge of the fin. Place it back on the helmet and let dry.
- 9). Trace over the outside of the pectoral areas of the Stormtrooper's body with a black paint marker.
- 10
Place the helmet back on the body to finish transforming the Stormtrooper into a Clone Trooper.
