    • 1). Locate the phone number to reach Capital One on your Capital One statement or find the number from their website, which can be found in the resource section.

    • 2). Call Capital One and follow the directions instructed by the automated voice to reach customer service. Make sure you have your statement or any pertinent information regarding the reason for your complaint.

    • 3). Ask the name of your customer service representative when you manage to get a hold of one and write the person's name down with a pen to use as a reference if you have to contact Capital One Auto again in the future for the same reason.

    • 4). Talk to your Capital One Auto customer service representative and politely file a complaint. Make sure you give all the important information required or that is related to your complaint.

    • 5). Write down any important information on paper that the customer service representative gives you so you have notes on the issue for references for the future if you have to speak to a different representative or a supervisor.
