Many retailers will be happy to give demonstrations of the functionality on different systems and to help match drivers to the right system for their need. Refurbished GPS systems with small, 3.5-inch screens and limited functionality may be purchased for as little as $50. For higher-end Auto Navigation Systems, price points can be significantly higher: The top-of-the-range Garmin nüvi 3790T, with touch-screen functionality, sells for an average of $430.
