- 1). Turn off the tower fan. For safety reasons, you should also unplug the unit from the wall.
- 2). Shake the can of compressed air. Attach the extended nozzle to the base of the compressed air can.
- 3). Point the nozzle directly into the air vents of the tower fan. Engage the trigger of the compressed air to start blowing the dust and debris out of the vents. Clean the tower fan vents in a systematic fashion and make sure you clean all openings.
- 4). Wipe off the surfaces of the tower fan with a damp towel moistened with only a small amount of water. Allow to dry.
- 5). Plug the fan back in and use as normal. Repeat this process on a regular basis, approximately once a month, to keep the fan clean.
