- 1). Record your footage using screen capture software or through a camcorder.
- 2). Save the screen capture footage or upload the film of your camcorder.
- 3). Open Sony Vegas. Click "File," select "Import" and choose the footage you just filmed.
- 4). Begin editing your film. Click "S" to cut a film and click "Delete" to erase a segment of the film.
- 5). Click "File" and select "Render As." Choose a video format you like. The default video format is typically the best.
