Wise County is an area in northern Texas consisting mostly of small towns like Rhome, Alvord and Paradis. Compared to the neighboring counties of Parker and Tarrant, Wise County is rural and uncrowded. Most of the attractions are located in and around Decatur, including two golf courses, the Wise County Heritage Museum and Caddo-LBJ National Grasslands, where visitors can go fishing, horseback riding, hiking, camping, biking and nature-watching. There are several recreational vehicle (RV) parks in Wise County, which offer chances for outdoor recreation and relaxation. - Creekside RV Park is a small shady park with 27 pull-through spaces, full hook-ups, wireless Internet and telephone service. All spaces come with 30 amp electricity, and most have both 30 and 50 amp hookups. The campground offers free DVD rentals, laundry facilities and shower rooms with air conditioning and wheelchair access. Creekside RV is also pet-friendly. The park has daily, weekly and monthly rates. Guests pay only for the electricity they use with monthly rates, although the park has an all-bills-paid option as well.
