Opened in 1973 by Joseph and Grace Pedots, Bari serves the Italian neighborhood of Grand Avenue and is known for its homemade Italian and Barese sausages and Italian subs with fresh meats and cheeses. Customer favorites red sauces made from family recipes, homemade giardiniera, and fresh made pestos. Bari also has an old fashioned Italian grocery store that sells imported cheeses, prosciuttos, salamis, olive oils, vinegars, pastas, and more.

Bar ia located at 1120 W. Grand Avenue between N. Aberdeen and May Street. Their phone number is 312-666-0730. Bari also has a Web site with their menu, hours, and location. Because of the popularity of Bar's food, especially their sub sandwiches, it is recommended to call in your orders. Bari does deliver between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a fee - around $3. Bari's hours are 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Monday - Friday; until 6 p.m. on Saturday; and until 1 p.m. on Sunday.
