Losing Weight Through The Power Of The Sub-Conscious Mind
The common thinking behind losing weight, and in particular losing weight over a period of a few months is that there is a lot of will power required to keep going.
But what if will power is not enough, what if the daily grind of work and family commitments means that will power takes a battering and becomes harder and harder to maintain.
It is at these moment that we need a little pick me up, a pat on the back if you like and a little internal voice that says 'You can do it' or 'You're succeeding, look how far you've come already'

In fact used on a regular basis this trick gets completely absorbed by the subconscious mind so that the thoughts and resulting actions get played out without you even realising it.
First of all you need to find a place where you can relax for fifteen minutes without being disturbed. Make yourself comfortable.
If the only chance you get to do this is in bed then that's fine. Do it before you go to sleep or on awakening.
Take some deep breaths in through the nose and exhale slowly through the mouth for a count of ten.
As you do this feel your shoulders drop and relax. Feel your forehead relax. Try to imagine all parts of your body relax as you slowly breathe out.
Imagine your arms and then your legs as balloons full of air. As you breathe out the stopper is released from the balloons and your limbs go flatter and flatter as the air escapes.
Try to do this for five minutes until your whole body feels beautifully relaxed.
Then when fully relaxed I want you to start to picture in your mind an image of you with a perfect figure. Do you picture yourself dressed in your dream figure flattering clothes? Are you naked? It doesn't matter just try to make that image as bright, vivid and as colourful as you can.
Don't worry if you can't yet see your face on that perfect figure; just concentrate on visualising that lean toned body wearing your ideal clothes.
Once you have that strong image (and it will get easier with practice) imagine walking up from behind and unzipping that lean, toned body and stepping into it.
Now go over to the mirror and look out through the eyes of your new body, see what you see, a slim waist, toned arms and slender thighs.
Hear what you hear, the compliments, how great you look, how well you've done and feel what it feels like to be wearing those beautiful clothes.
Enjoy the compliments; enjoy the feeling of that firm slim figure.
Feel the buzz from the heightened pleasure and vivid image of what you look like with your slim toned body.
Try to keep these feelings going for five minutes if you can and then gently step out.
You will open your eyes feeling relaxed and invigorated but at the same time you have sent a very powerful message to your subconscious mind about how you expect to look, how you expect the outcome to be and it is the subconscious mind that ultimately controls everything that we achieve in life...positive or negative.
So if you constantly repeat in your mind how difficult weight loss is then it will be because that is the message you are sending to your subconscious.
If on the other hand you carry out this simple exercise regularly then you will send out a completely different set of instructions and success will follow as surely as night follows day.
