- One carry-on item is allowed per person but there is a charge. Spirit $9 Fare Club members can pay the $20 online for the carry-on baggage fee. Non-members paying for the charge online should expect to pay $30. People paying at the gate will be charged $45.
- One personal carry-on item is allowed per person per flight. Personal items include such items as backpacks, purses, umbrellas, diaper bags, cameras, strollers and reading materials. These items do not count toward your carry-on item allowance and you will not be charged to bring these items on board.
- Car seats are allowed as a carry-on item as long as a seat has been purchased for the child who will be using the seat. With this situation, the car seat carry-on will be free of charge.
