How to Treat Your Hemorrhoids

103 32
Sometimes people say the silliest things.
For instance, some people can provide you with some crazy ways to treat your hemorrhoids.
Their advice can sound very offensive and somewhat cruel.
You deserve better.
That's what we plan to offer here.
Many hemorrhoids can be improved through a change in the diet.
It also helps to change some bowel habits.
Many don't actually require a surgical treatment unless they are extremely large or create a great deal of pain.
What you want to do is decrease the supply of blood to the hemorrhoid.
That way it may shrink and disappear.
These nonsurgical procedures are referred to as fixative procedures.
They leave a scar tissue that will maintain anal tissue.
Also, it will help prevent more hemorrhoids from growing.
Tying off the hemorrhoid is one kind of fixative procedure.
A rubber band is used.
Chemicals may also be injected to help reduce the tissue.
This is called injection sclerotherapy.
The use of heat, lasers, and electric currents is another form of fixative procedures.
These will create more scar tissue.
In the case of sizeable internal hemorrhoids, it may be necessary to remove them through surgery.
This happens if several hemorrhoids are in the area or if any other therapies haven't stemmed the bleeding.
There is also the choice of combining various therapies.
Maybe it would be best to pursue both a fixative procedure and a hemorroidectomy.
Before surgery, fixative procedures are usually employed.
The hemorroidectomy may offer better improved long term results than a fixative procedure.
Still, surgery can be expensive.
It also demands a lengthier recovery period.
It's more painful, and has increased risk of some complications.
Fixative procedures are the method preferred by people over seventy or those with declining health.
One thing people can do to combat hemorrhoids is try a homemade cream.
If you use a base like Aloe Vera, which is dense and creamy, you can mix some of the following items to make your own cream.
Sometimes you can start with an Aloe plant.
You simply break off part of the stem.
Squeeze out the gel you find inside.
This contains the healing elements used in many remedies.
It will sooth and ease any burning, itching, or pain.
Another thing that can be done is to use Witch Hazel.
This can be mixed with Aloe Vera to make the cream a bit thinner.
It will still allow it to be effective.
Witch Hazel soothes the inflamed area and helps to cure the hemorrhoid.
Burning and itching will be less apparent.
Butcher's Broom can also be mixed into the combination.
This is great for treating the inflammation and any problems with veins.
Hemorrhoids are simply veins that are inflamed.
This ingredient helps in a big way.
The only thing to keep in mind is that it isn't wise to use Butcher's Broom if you face high blood pressure, take certain medicines, are pregnant or nursing, or if you have any benign prostate hyperplasia.
Horse Chestnut is another great ingredient.
It really helps with circulation troubles.
It can make blood vessels more resilient and can be used to assist with any inflammation.
Horse Chestnut shouldn't be used by anyone with allergies to any Horse Chestnut item.
Also, those with blood disorders or taking medicines for blood troubles shouldn't use it.
You have to be careful about what portion of the plant you use.
Mature portions are poisonous.
Making your own hemorrhoid cream may be the perfect solution to your problems.
It will certainly help with the minor symptoms.
Whichever method you use to treat your hemorrhoids, the best method is the one that works best for you and the type of hemorrhoid you have.
Hemorrhoids can be a thing of the past if you can find new ways to treat them and new methods that help you feel great.
