How would you know if it is internal hemorrhoid if you do not know the symptoms? It is very important that we learn what the symptoms of internal hemorrhoids are.
It is because this condition is actually not visibly seen for it is located inside the anus.
It would be difficult for us to see if it really is an internal hemorrhoid.
For that, here are the symptoms of internal hemorrhoids: 1.
Rectal Bleeding If you notice blood appearing in your toilet paper as you wipe your anus, then it might be because of the internal hemorrhoid.
Sometimes, we can also see this from our stool after we have our bowel movements.
The blood is usually very dark red in color.
It is the most common symptoms of internal hemorrhoids.
2.
Painful or Itchy Anus If you are always irritated with a very itchy anus, it can be because of the forming hemorrhoid inside.
You will notice the itching will later become painful.
This is due to the swelling anal veins inside.
Scratching the itchy part will only inflame and will make the problem worst.
Control scratching it as you can and consult the doctor immediately to prevent it from worsening.
3.
Small Lumps As you touch your anus, you can feel small lumps.
This can also be due to the prolapsed hemorrhoid.
Sometimes, we can even push the lumps back inside the anus using the finger.
It is difficult and can be really frightening to feel these lumps.
As you do not know what procedure to do, it is better to just wait for your doctor to tell you the initial procedure you can take to remove the hemorrhoid inside.
4.
Bowels Feel Full When you do you bowel movements, you might feel like there are still some that are left inside.
This is because the lumps are forming like tiny bowels inside which you think are stools but they are not.
If you feel like you are not being emptied, ignore it.
you can go back to the toilet after you really feel like they are coming out.
Forcing it to come out will only damage the inside of the anus.
5.
Mucus You might notice mucus in your bowel discharge.
This will look slimy.
This is also a symptom of internal hemorrhoid.
This is what makes the anus irritable and itchy.
But like what I said above, never scratch it.
6.
Straining Sitting in the toilet can be really painful.
This means that you have a strain due to the hemorrhoid inside your anus.
If you are having any of the symptoms mentioned above, you need to have an appointment with your doctor.
He will prescribe you medicines or maybe suggest some surgical procedures to get rid of the internal hemorrhoid.
