- The Clark Currier Inn is located near downtown Newburyport's Market Square. The inn is based out of a historic house constructed in 1803 by shipbuilder March Clark Sr. Waterside Promenade Park, the Firehouse Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, and numerous shops and museums are within walking distance. The inn has a garden out back, as well as a gazebo. Seven guest rooms and one guest suite, some of which have their own fireplace, are available.
- The Essex Street Inn is a 37-room inn located in the center of downtown Newburyport. The inn is just a block away from the Waterside Promenade Park, a great spot to sit on a bench and watch the boats go by, as well as the Custom House Maritime Museum. - The Garrison Inn is a boutique hotel in downtown Newburyport. This 24-room hotel was named in honor of abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison. The hotel's historic brick building was built in 1809 and has operated as a hotel since 1850. The Garrison Inn is next to Brown Square, a small city park. The restaurant Mission Oak Grille is within a block of the inn, and David's Tavern and the Tea Noir Champagne Bar are both located on site.
