- 1). Select a face bolt for your Beyblade. The face bolt holds the entire top together, but it mainly offers an aesthetic design choice. The bolts do not have special properties. The bolt you select determines the official name of your Beyblade for tournaments.
- 2). Add the polycarbonate energy ring to the face bolt. These clear wheels attach at the top of the bolt and determine the general speed and weight of the Beyblade. - 5). Snap the performance tip into place to complete the Beyblade. Your choice of performance tip is the final say in the attributes of the Beyblade. As with other parts, these are based on defense, stamina and attack. Wider tips offer more stability but sacrifice speed and attack power. Rubber tips greatly reduce the recoil from impact with other Beyblades, but metal tips provide less friction and more powerful speeds.
