Adobe Flash games can be played online for free, and entire websites are devoted to providing cat games for girls. Many of these games just let players dress and make over their online animals and are simply designed to fill web space; however, others offer more activities and are worth playing again and again. - Net-Pet is a game where you can create your own virtual pet, name it and practice your animal-raising skills online. Players select a cat or a dog and are responsible for feeding, training and tending to their animal. Occasionally, the game will prompt you to indicate that your cat is in need of food or attention or that it needs to be scolded for doing something wrong, like scratching at the furniture or howling. The game allows girls to practice training a pet that they get to name and pick out themselves. The game itself is basically the same group of commands over and over, which means it is going to be more fun for children who can read those commands or who have an adult to help them.
- Mary Dream House Construction is a game about cat people. The premise of the game is that Mr. Meow and Ms. Mary are a couple, and Mr. Meow has planned a dinner party at his girlfriend’s house without telling her. Meanwhile, Ms. Mary has decided to renovate her house. The game follows Mr. Meow through a series of home improvement tasks that have to be completed in a certain amount of time or else Ms. Mary scolds you with an angry face. The game is best suited for extremely young girls; though they may not be able to keep up with the beginning dialogue, it isn’t important and they can simply move on with the game.
- Cat bowling is a game about self defense. The player controls a cat who has to fend off hordes of adorable animals with ninja skills. Cute bunnies, penguins and mystery creatures slowly close in as they march from left to right toward your cat character, and you must roll bowling balls at them to stop them. If they get too close, they jump-kick you, and you lose. As the master cat, players have to roll the ball at the adorable animals head on, or they will simply jump over the ball as it bounces back. The game isn’t violent and is suitable for children of any age.
