- 1). Go to the "Sonic Riders" title screen. Select the "Normal Race" option.
- 2). Scroll down and select "World Grand Prix." Select "Heroes" to play through the stages with Sonic, Knuckles and Tails.
- 3). Start each race by crossing the starting line at the right time. Cross it too early, and your character gets a speed penalty. A moving green line shows you when you should pass the starting line. Try to pass the starting point at the same time the green line does for an "Unbelievable" rating.
- 4). Keep your air tank full. Your hover board runs on air, and you can keep the tank full by doing tricks, breaking objects on the track, opening item capsules and landing after a successful jump. Grinding on rails and flying through rings also give you an air boost.
- 5). Boost as much as possible to take first place in the race. Boosting uses some of your air, but it lets you speed up for a brief time. When you boost, you are also able to knock out characters in your way.
- 6). Get gold medals in each of the five Heroes Mode races. This is done by finishing in first place, doing tricks and knocking out enemies. SEGA Carnival is unlocked in "Free Race" and "Mission Mode."
