Take the Challenges in Your Life and Run With It

103 26
Our society has been in the midst of one of the greatest challenges in the last few decades.
It's not the first time in history that this has happened.
Our forefathers took up a challenge in order to start a new country - the United States of America.
The time of the Great Depression brought about challenges to the masses and opened opportunities for others.
Sometimes great challenges bring about change that creates new and greater opportunities than ever before.
In the business world this has happened time and again.
Take newspaper publishing.
They are now being challenged.
And it's not due to the recession.
The internet and its free news articles have made printed news obsolete.
They are being challenged to create a new model or die into the history books.
It happens to all of us.
You may currently be challenged in your life, right? Instead of looking at the negative things that can happen, look for the opportunities that are being presented.
It may be hard to even know that opportunities exist for you.
They do.
You just have to be open to them.
There are strategies and techniques that will help open your mind to opportunities from the challenges in your life.
One thing is to think of the challenge as a problem that a lot of people may have.
If you can find those people that have the same problem as you, then it opens a door for an opportunity.
The opportunity is the solution to the problem.
Think of yourself as a problem solver and you've developed a new career for yourself.
Isn't that what most people are looking for? People that will help them solve their problems, right? Many information marketers have made millions of dollars simply by offering information that has solved some kind of problem.
Once you have the right mindset, you'll look at all problems as a great thing.
Getting the right mindset can be a challenge in itself.
I would suggest that you start reading books on success, especially biographies.
Many biographies present information about a person and the struggles they had to overcome in their lives that helped bring about success.
Abraham Lincoln was one such person.
He had many challenges that he was able to overcome to eventually become the 16th President of the United States.
Here was a man born in a log cabin with less than a year of formal education to accomplish all that he did.
"A pessimist is one who makes difficulties of his opportunities; an optimist makes opportunities of his difficulties.
"
- Reginald B.
Mansell Bring about an optimistic attitude in everything you do.
It will help you to discover those opportunities from the challenges of life.
Be persistent in the midst of a difficulty.
Look for ways to overcome the challenge and even bring in others to help you.
Having an optimistic attitude will also bring about better health as well as wealth.
Surround yourself with other people who are optimistic.
You might even want to join a local Optimist Club.
Other organizations that help are volunteer organizations.
Look for them in your area.
These are all attitude changers.
Take any challenge in your life and go make a difference (with a smile).
