We Want Regime Change in Many Nations - Is It Time for Hope in Regime Change for the US Too?
2012 is a major year for elections around the world, and some 72 nations will be going through at least some sort of political change, which will modify the international dynamics, global economics, and geopolitical trends.
Still, what about regime change for the United States? You see, the US is also in an election year, and the Obama Administration although having the advantage of incumbency will be challenged with high unemployment rates, and lackluster economic performance.
It is interesting that the United States demands regime change in Syria, Iran, and previously in Libya, and yes, a half a dozen other nations if not more - and yet our current administration may not be long for this world, and there could be a complete turnover, yes, a little controlled chaos as the new Romney Administration gets all their ducks in a row.
Would this be the best for all concerned in the United States? In my humble opinion it would be desirable to have a new administration in the US and to pull back from our socialist leaning trends, stopping the momentum which will put us in a sad state of affairs with huge budget deficits, and basically in the same position as the Greeks.
Not long ago, FED Chairman Ben Bernanke explained to Congress that the US was headed for a very dangerous economic debt cliff.
Of course, these warnings have come before, however it seems that each new administration, and incoming Congress continues to kick the can down the road.
Of course, there is always the day of reckoning, and we're seeing that right now with Greece, as they painted themselves into a corner, for which there is no escape.
Will Greece leave the EU? Yes well, there seems to be a 75 to 85% chance that they will.
In fact, there were folks in England who were betting on Greece leaving the EU when it was considered to be a 50-50 chance, but they are no longer taking bets.
A good many people now feel it is inevitable, and the "slow-motion train wreck" is indeed the proper analogy to explain what is happening there.
There is even talk that Greece may become a communist country, go off the euro, and reissue their old currency, or come up with a new one.
It will be interesting how that plays out, but it is a foreshadowing of what could actually happen in US if we don't get regime change as well.
No, this article isn't meant to scare anyone, as I am merely analyzing the reality of the situation.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
