Canada is one of the favorite spot among people around the world. Numbers of people are migrating to Canada these days. Canada's increasing economy requires skilled people who can support their economy and can adapt Canadian market.

The selection grid has made some changes in the level of language knowledge. Under skilled worker program maximum 20,000 new applications will be selected. Beyond this limit applications will not be selected. The criteria of maximum number of application will not be applicable if

• If application has been submitted under Quebec experience program.
• If applicant possess a valid employment offer
• If the applicant has agreement from the CICof the acceptance of her/his application forpermanent resident in Canada
• If applicant is holding temporary resident of the country and has now applied for permanent resident visa in Canada

Order of priority for processing of application from 1st August 2013, all the applications will be following the processing order-

• Application submitted by the applicants for Quebec experience program
• Applications of those applicants who process valid employment offer and have also submitted the required evidence related to this
• Applications form those applicants who scored points through area of training factors
• Applicants that has submitted by the permanent workers

Applicants, who are applying under skilled worker programs, note that the selection grid has changed with respect to French language. The level of knowledge and fluency required for gaining points has further increased.

Previously the level which was considered to be advanced intermediate has now become basic threshold for gaining points concerning the knowledge in language. In case an applicant has submitted his/her application under Quebec experience program, the requirement of oral language (French) level will be more.

In case one want to show the French knowledge through their education then it is mandatory to have successful complete minimum 3 years secondary and post-secondary studies in French. Student applying under this make sure they are applying within 36 months of their completion of study program.
