Theme parks

• Orlando can be considered the theme park capital of the world. Disney World is the biggest and most visited theme park in Orlando. It is essentially four separate theme parks, and each one can take more than a day to explore. Disney also has shopping and entertainment spots that are fun for adults. You can visit downtown Disney and the Disney Boardwalk without having to even go to the theme parks. Also there are water parks such as Wet N Wild, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Island. Other theme parks include Sea World, Universal Studios and Bush Gardens, which is in Tampa.
  
  

Day trips

• Not only is there is a ton of things to do in Orlando but there is also a lot worth doing just a short distance from Orlando. You can visit Kennedy Space Center and see the launch site of the space shuttle. There are dozens of great beaches on both costs of Florida, including Daytona Beach. Other attractions close by like include the Daytona 500 experience and Dinosaur World in Plant City.
  
  

Everything else

• While you're in Orlando there are dozens of great places to eat. International Drive has many great restaurants, including the McDonald's with the worlds biggest play place. B.B. Kings Blues Club is one of several places where you can go to eat and get entertained. There are several large and fun mini golf places, including Gator Golf and Pirates Cove adventure golf. If you want to do something different you can take a helicopter ride at Air Florida Helicopter charters or go in the only upside down building in Orlando at Wonderworks.
