- 1). Unscrew the 28 screws that hold the two halves of the Longshot together and open the gun.
- 2). Remove the bolt sled assembly. It looks like an orange tube (the bolt assembly) held in place by a yellow plastic frame (the bolt sled).
- 3). Use a paper clip to remove the metal retaining pin that holds the bolt assembly to the bolt sled.
- 4). Locate the air restrictor mechanism. It is found on the black plastic plunger (the bolt), and appears to be three plastic supports holding a circle of plastic over the mouth of the plunger.
- 5). Remove the three plastic supports that hold the air restrictor mechanism in place using snips.
- 6). Reassemble your Longshot.
