Akai MPK25 Keyboard Controller

I am about ready to publish my review of the Akai MPK49 which is a perfect controller for both GrandVJ and Abelton. The only "problem" with the MPK49 is the thought of lugging a 49-key keyboard around to gigs and on a plane. The MPK25 solves that problem by compressing all of the major features of the MPK49 down to a travel-friendly size. With 25 keys, 12 MPC pads, and 12 assignable knobs, the only things missing seem to be 8 sliders and 24 keys.

Playing with it at NAMM, it feels solid, sturdy and responsive without being too heavy to bring to gigs.
