    Children's Museum of Cleveland

    • For an afternoon of fun and learning, head to the Children's Museum of Cleveland. Hands-on exhibits and activities, including Creative Play and Free Choice Learning, are specifically geared toward preschool and young elementary school children. First established in 1981 by a coalition of educators and parents, the Children's Museum of Cleveland is known as the area's leading cultural and educational resource dedicated entirely to young children. The museum is located in the center of Cleveland's University Circle and is easily accessible by public transportation.

    Cleveland Lakefront State Park

    • For outdoor recreational activity, bring the family to Cleveland Lakefront State Park. The park spans 14 miles and is comprised of six different sections. Swim at Euclid Beach, bike the trails or play in playgrounds at Edgewater Park or boat at Gordon Park. Teach the kids to fish at the marina at Wildwood, where a boat launch allows access to the central basin of Lake Erie. Cleveland Lakefront State Park has several picnicking spots and concession stands for meals and snacks.

    I-X Indoor Amusement Park

    • Kids will have a blast at I-X Indoor Amusement Park, which operates from the end of March through the beginning of May each year inside Cleveland's International Exposition Center.
