Hard backed plastic or wooden seats with no form of adjustment, I was always getting told off for rocking back on my school chair, but now I know that my brain was getting stimulated by this rocking motion making me work harder and learn quicker, the things you learn with are.

There are now hundreds of manufactures of ergonomic office chairs from the big names like the Herman Miller Aeron to smaller companies producing budget chairs that work from £80 + VAT. There is no reason why you employees should still be sitting on unsuitable office chairs that not only are uncomfortable but cost you money in lost hours.

There's no excuse, the next time you buy a chair for the office make sure it's ergonomic.
