How to Remove Printers & Faxes from Your Start Menu

1). Click the "Start" button.
2). Right click on an empty area in the "Start" taskbar and select "Properties."
3). Click "Start" from the taskbar and the "Start Menu Properties" window. Select "Customize." The "Customize Start Menu" window will open.
4). Under "Start Menu Items," uncheck the box next to "Printers and Faxes."
5). Click "OK" on the dialog boxes to close them. "Printers and Faxes" will no longer be displayed in the "Start" menu.
