How to Set Windows XP to Automatically Defragment

1). Click the "Start" button and click the "Control Panel" link.
2). Click "Scheduled Tasks" from the link.
3). Click the "Next" button on the wizard that appears.
4). Click the "Browse" button.
5). Navigate to "Windows" and select "System 32".
6). Scroll through the list and select "defrag" or "dfrg".
7). Name the scheduled task and use the radio buttons to specify how often you want to perform the task.
8). Enter your Window's XP username and password to complete the process.
