- 2). Look through online or print classifieds for open casting calls asking for hair models. Local salons may also post advertisements for hair product models, so visit them regularly to find any openings.
- 3). Attend casting calls to be selected as a hair product model. Once at a casting call, you will fill out a questionnaire about your hair type, cut or color to determine if you're a right fit for the modeling opportunity. If chosen, you may get a hair cut or color depending on the salon's or manufacturer's needs; a photograph of your hair will be taken to be displayed in beauty books or hairstyling magazines.
