The art of brewing tea, a tradition that has been passed down through many generations. Worshiped for its healing powers on the mind and body to find balance in everyday life.I will show you the secret that millions of people have already discovered. I will teach you the art of brewing tea. And just like any trade you are going to need the right tools for the job. you will need...

1. Loose Tea           2. Kettle           3. Tea Pot/Infuser

With these three tools in hand your ready to start brewing. And remember to take your time and enjoy the process.

Here is how to brew a perfect cup of tea in 5 easy steps.

1. Heat Water

The first thing you need to do when you decide you want to make tea is heat up some water. You can do this with an electric kettle, or a stove top kettle it really doesn't matter as long as you can heat the water to boiling temperature.

I personally like to use the electric kettle because it is much faster and easier to control the temperature. Bring the water to a boil (212?).

2. Prepare your pot

Prepare your pot by pouring hot water over your vessel and filling it up. Let it sit for about 10 min or until it is nice and warm. This helps keep the water temperature consistent so it doesn't drop when you steep your tea.

3. Choose your tea

While you wait for your water to boil and your pot to warm lets choose some tea. Different teas brew at different temperatures so be sure to read the directions on the package of your loose tea.

As a rule of thumb measure about one heaping tea spoon for each cup of tea you plan to brew. But don't be afraid to experiment, the more tea you add the more flavor it will have, less tea and it will become more mild. NEVER steep your tea for more than the recommended time, you will burn and ruin it.

4. Flush Tea

Just one more prep step, its called flushing the tea. All you need to do is put the infuser into the tea pot filled with hot water and let sit for about 30 seconds then take it out and dump the water.

This will get rid of any dirt, or impurities in the tea. Run The tea under cold water for about a minute and then head on over to step 5.

5. Infuse Tea

The last and most important step is to infuse the tea leaves into the hot water. Place the infuser at the bottom of your tea pot. Check to make sure the temperature of your water is at the right temperature according to the tea you are going to brew. Pour the water over your tea and let sit for the recommended amount of time.

Take the tea out and re-infuse it up to four times. The more you infuse your tea the better it begins to taste!

Enjoy and repeat daily. For more information on tea head on over to the first article Loose Tea Explained or check out www.make-tea.com for more articles and resources.
