  Navasota lies on the Navasota River in eastern Texas. Blues guitarist and songwriter Mance Lipscomb was a Navasota native, and the city holds an annual summer blues festival in his honor. • University RV Park has 12 pull-through sites and 30 back-in sites, all with full utility hook-ups. The park offers laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, high-speed Internet access and digital cable. Leashed pets are welcome. University RV is about 15 miles from Navasota and features walking trails and a six-acre private fishing lake. You can purchase propane and ice onsite. • Lazy G RV Park is about 15 miles from Navasota and has 29 sites, all of which come with full hook-ups and 30/50-amp electricity. The campground offers 16 back-in sites and 13 pull-through sites. RV sites feature Internet access and cable television. Both covered and uncovered RV and boat storage is available. Lazy G RV has restroom facilities, a bathhouse and a laundry room. The park rents a country cabin and a "Cowboy Bunkhouse" suitable for families of four. Lazy G also rents furnished rooms.
