- 1). Go to the official Arizona State Supreme Court website. Click on the "Case Search" tab at the bottom of the page.
- 2). Enter a last name or business name of the plaintiff or defendant in the case. This step is mandatory.
- 3). Enter any additional information the prompts have asked you to provide. Information may include a date of birth, the name of a specific court, or a court case ID number. Click "Search" to scroll through available listings and review public records on the case. Move to Step 4 to find additional information.
- 4). Visit the office of the clerk for the Municipal Court in your Arizona county -- or the county where the legal matter was handled. Go to the Landlord and Tenant Court or Small Claims Court office if the court maintains such divisions -- and if the matter was taken up in either court division.
- 5). Present at least two current forms of identification to the clerk -- a driver's license and Social Security card, for instance. Tell the clerk you would like copies of publicly available documentation for your ownership or property case. Present the court case number or any additional information you have to expedite the search. Prepare to pay processing and copy fees as necessary. Fees vary by court.
