How to Create TinyXP With NLite

    • 1). Insert your Windows XP installation disc into your computer's optical drive.

    • 2). Right-click on your desktop and choose "New," and then "Folder." Name it "Windows XP."

    • 3). Click "Start," and then "Computer." Double-click on the "CD/DVD" drive to open the Windows XP disc. Press "Ctrl" and "A" to select all the files on the disc. Press "Ctrl" and "C" to copy the files, and then close the window. Open the folder you created on your desktop. Press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the disc's contents into the folder. Wait for the files to transfer, and then close the window.

    • 4). Start NLite. Select "English" from the drop-down menu, and then click "Next."

    • 5). Click "Browse" and select the folder you created on your desktop.

    • 6). Click "Remove Components," and then click "Next."

    • 7). Check all the components you want to remove, such as languages and drives you don't want. Click "Next." Click "Finish." NLite will alter the Windows files. Insert a blank DVD into your computer's DVD burner. Click "Start," type "DVD burner" into the search field, and then press "Enter." Click "Add" and select the files in the folder you created on your desktop, which were altered by NLite. Click "Next," and then "Burn." A new Windows installation disc will be created with TinyXP.
