How to Create a Twist Jumper Top

104 26
    • 1). Try on the jumper and mark how low you'd like the front of your top to be. Remove the jumper.

    • 2). Remove the neckline of the top of the jumper and cut a new neckline into a deep V or round neck. Cut it a couple inches above where you want the low part of your top to hit.

    • 3). Cut a sleeve off the old tee following the seam line.

    • 4). Keep the sleeve folded in half and draw a triangle. Use the fold as the bottom of the triangle. Make the triangle as wide as you like, this is the tie that you will use to twist the new neckline of your jumper.

    • 5). Poke a hole about 2 inches below the neckline in the middle of the jumper. Make sure you only go through the front layer. This hole should be just big enough to feed the tie through. If you make it too big, you'll have a gap since jersey does stretch.

    • 6). Unfold the triangle tie and lay it flat. Pinch the tip and feed it through the hole you poked in the front of the jumper top.

    • 7). Pull the tie through the top of the jumper so half is sticking through the front and the other half is inside.

    • 8). Twist the tie which will twist the neckline of the jumper top then tie it tightly. Adjust until you are happy with your look.
