According to Higher Education in India, there is a growing demand for forensic scientists in India. Most hold at least a three-year Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science degree. Laboratory Technician

• Many people with a background in forensic science take laboratory technician positions with local or state law enforcement agencies. Forensic laboratory technicians collect crime scene information, such as blood samples, hair samples and fingerprints.
