How to Cook Fresh Polish Sausage

    • 1). Set the fresh Polish sausage in a large saucepan and cover it with water. Use a mixture of half water and half beer if you prefer.

    • 2). Set the stove top to "Medium-High" and bring the water to a boil. Adjust the temperature to "Low" and simmer the sausage for 30 minutes.

    • 3). Fill a skillet with 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil or butter and turn the stove top to "Medium-High." Remove the Polish sausage from the saucepan using tongs; be careful not to puncture the casing. Place the sausage in the heated skillet.

    • 4). Saute the sausage for 15 to 20 minutes, turning it frequently with the tongs. Remove the browned sausage from the pan and serve it immediately.
