How to Get Factory Installed Parts for a Jeep Commander
- 1). Visit the MOPAR.com website. MOPAR (which stands for motor parts) is a division of Chrysler. MOPAR offers a variety of exterior and interior parts for the Commander ranging from cargo carriers to light bars and chrome accessories. MOPAR also sells maintenance items such as oil filters, brake components and tires.
- 2). Contact a local Jeep dealership to schedule an appointment for installation of items. While you can order and install parts yourself, you can also opt to have the dealership install the parts you specify. Contact your local dealership (see the dealer locator on the MOPAR website) to purchase items and schedule an installation appointment.
- 3). Confirm with the service manager that the parts are certified MOPAR parts covered under the MOPAR warranty and where applicable, possess a California Air Resources Board (CARB) number. Modifications that alter vehicle performance (such as an intake or exhaust) must possess a CARB number to be legal for use on California roads.
